List of Programs Covered by Express Entry System
Express Entry is an application management system for three major Canadian economic immigration programs:
Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Canada Experience Class
You’ll be able to apply to any of the above mentioned program, if you’re eligible by submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI) into the Express Entry system.
After your Profile is submitted into the Express Entry system you’ll be given a score known as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
Canadian Government conducts a draw every two weeks and issues invitations for Individuals and families to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) to the top ranking profiles from the pool of candidates from Express Entry based on their scoring.
After getting an invite for Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) you’ll need to wait four to six months for it to be processed.
IRCC states that 80% of eAPRs (electronic Application for Permanent Residence in Canada) are processed within six months or earlier from the date of submission. If an application is approved, then the applicant & all family members will be issued travel visas allowing them to travel to a Canadian Port of Entry (POE) to obtain their official permanent resident documents.
